knock sensor change out, now throwing code

Ok, FWIW I'm really confused... I just talked to PCM tech support and they said my engine only has 1 knock sensor. He said it must have been something they were trying in 2004 era because originally they had 2 and now they use 2. I'm now starting to question if the software is a problem but I really hope not!

if you have the 5.7 excalibur 330, then it only has the one knock sensor ... some later motors had two, but they were some of the bigger motors if i recall correctly. not sure what the pcm guy was talking about.

Confirming my 5.7 Excalibur 330 has only 1 knock sensor. 2003 Vintage.

Update: called my local dealer as I was going to throw in a new knock sensor - they didn't have it stock and the parts guy told me he rarely ever sees them fail... So, I need to use the boat this weekend so I cleaned up the threads somewhat (didn't have Teflon tape), changed out the wiring connection per that thread where the guy used a bullet style connector, reset the ECM and NO CODES ALL WEEKEND! Boat ran great and put about 6-hrs on it this weekend
