    05 SANTE Replacement Pump

I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on a replacement fill pump for the rear ballast?

My starboard side is dead, and I'm thinking I might just replace the port as well. Not sure if I should go Tsunami 800GPH, upgrade to 1200, or try a Johnson?

i changed mine out several seasons ago to rule 1100's and have been happy with them. i had to change out the mounting brackets too though, so you might stick with one that uses that same mount for convenience.

The Tsunami 1200 will have 1 1/2" inlet and outlet whereas the 800 has 3/4" If you go the 1200 route you will need to come up with some reducer fittings to accommodate your existing hose size. The Rule 1100 uses 3/4" connections so it may be a better fit than the Tsunami pumps.

you sure it's dead and not just stuck? If you're not sure, swap the power from starboard to port and see what happens.

          Thanks guys.

I did try the power swap with port side. When I pulled it apart it was pretty gummed up and didn't move very well.

I think I'm going to order the Tsunami 800, just for the sake of convince. It looks like it should mount the same and work with all my existing fitting. Only $25 on wakemakers right now.

1 of the pumps on my 05 had to be replaced last year. I ended up doing the same thing just purchased the 800. I did take the money i saved and bought a couple extra quick connects and put them at the pumps so i could use the pumps on either side if one quite working by switching the hose
