My 03 216 has a 330hp PCM. Since it is dropping into limp mode even though the gauges show good temps and oil pressure, I am confused on how to trouble shoot. I disconnected what I thought was the sensor for temp. The gauge dropped to 0 but the engine still dropped into limp mode. Is the sensor for the ECM different than the one for the gauge? Where on the block is the oil pressure sensor? Sorry if this is a stupid question....but I am stumped and can't find the answer by searching.

There are the PCM service manuals on the Manuals/Brochures tab at the top of this page. If you scroll down, there is a section labeled "Other PCM Manuals" I would check the one that say PCM MEFI should be of use for a 2003, I think the one on the page is for a 2005, but don't think much is different from 03 --> 05.
Those should be a good place to start, there are sections for diagnostics, including line drawings of the circuits and some show where some of the sensors are.
