hey there guys totally new to this site been on ccfan a long time with my older boat hoping you can help me with me electrical hiccup?
got a newer 2001 sport with the PCM APEX 5.7 have about 20 hours on her with no problems. did a youth event last week ran 10 hour over the course of two days never a worry. Friday go to the river she lights right up and runs as usual withe the exception of the slightest miss on one accel..nothing to write home about. cruised around at low speeds for about 6 min. shut off to swim with the family.. upon startup again it starts runs for 2 seconds dies. i repeat this 5 times. check battery cable, cycle through the keypad... no difference..after about 8 tries she does nothing but crank over. i do notice that i am getting no whine at all from either fuel pump...i swap my ignition and fuel pump relay exact same thing... pull of the lake and head home.
today upon further exam i pulled both fuel pumps including the low pressure and the fcc pump and they both run no problem on 12V.. upon further investigation i seem to have no power coming to either pump onboard. all other functions of the boat are alive and well. next step would be check the fuel check valve but i assumed the low pressure would still run even if it wasn't pulling fuel...any body have this issue or similar. could be something stupid. i am a bit new to the FI boat setup.
