Recently purchased a VR 140 PTM mirror and am having issues installing it. I have a 2008 211 with the factory tower and mirror arm (Roswell I believe). I purchased the mirror and the adapter (RTS-100) which is needed to mount the mirror onto the post of the mirror arm. I tried to slide the adapter onto the post and it just won't fit....the adapter seems to be just a bit too small to go over the post. I tried to pry open the adapter a bit to get more room but it wouldn't budge. I tried to "force" it on but that just resulted in making gouges in both the adapter and post so I stopped there. I am trying to get PTM's thoughts on this but after a week of waiting still no response from them.
