You must absolutely remove the old black sano pads. If you don’t you’re wasting your time and money. Peel them off, use a plastic putty to get them started if necessary. Mine came right off. Then use an old rag and acetone to clean up the sticky residue. You may need the plastic putty for some of that too. Should take less than an evening or two.

I didn’t see a big need to fill them so no. If you feel inclined I’d use silicone. If anyone else filled them I’d be curious as to why...

Many of the templates floating around are for the newer model years that dont have cupholders on the rear step off the walk through. There's also a couple different versions of the transom pieces. I emailed Seadek directly and they are very helpful with the templates they had for the SV-211 and we went back and forth to build a hybrid template for all the pieces (Swim Platform, Transom and Interior are all available as standalone kits if you want). I measured each one and this is what we arrived at that fit my boat.
Keep in mind the process is 10 days to build the kit once you sign off on the final template. If you start from whats attached and it works for you, that will save you the week or so of back and forth I had with them. Once you sign off on it, there's no turning back if it doesn't fit so I was careful to measure everything.
Installation was really easy after you get the hang of it. I spent more time making sure the floor was spotless in between each piece than I did actually sticking it down.
Acetone and a green scrubby pad worked the best for me as far as removing residue left from the SANO pads and my dry-rotted snap out carpets.
I’m in search of a template for 2006 SV211 Seadek. Can anyone help me out? I see the one attached but I can’t open it?
Thanks!!

I would suggest GatorStep over seadek. I tried getting some info from seadek and they wouldn’t call me back or help. I was able to work with GatorStep to get a custom design done with the nautique logo in the middle and it looks amazing. Pricing is the same also
