Is there a trick to have it stop a slow inlet leak from happening? I have the valves closed, the pump off, but i still get water in the tank when running fast. Its not a huge deal, just have to pump water back out of the tank. Be nice not having to do this all the time. Its not a fast fill, but slow. Thanks!

Is this the valves at the helm or the actual brass water intake/shutoffs? If it is the helm valves, I thought that was a common complaint on those years (2000-2006?) I don't know when they replaced the flowrite valves, but they were initially supposed to be remote valves for livewells, not probably the forces we put on them.

It's pretty common problem. Its most likely the flow rite valve. I believe it's the V1 that is the direct replacement. Just order new one and swap the old one out. Not sure exactly where it's in line in your system but it's a red and black looking box
