    2008 SANTE Throttle Lag help

So for some reason my throttle went mush over the weekend. The lag between pushing forward and actually getting a response is almost 10o'clock. I know when I originally got the boat it was more between 10-11 for it to engage. Is there any adjustment ? I tried to adjust the ball and socket on the top of the engine but it's the slack before that even engages. And if I tighten it up at the ball n socket point, the throttle will not engage because it won't return to zero on the top of the engine. Any advice. ?

Not really advice, but I would wonder about throttle position sensor?

Was able to adjust the back of the throttle and tighten it up just a bit. Pretty happy with the results. Not exactly as tight as I like but much better.

Some of the 2006 and 2007 PCM engines were drive-by-wire and used a Potentiomter to actually drive the throttle. Not sure about 2008 - you can get the parts here: https://www.nautiqueparts.com/search...=POTENTIOMETER

The 2008 is drive by wire and uses the Poteniometer - I have a 2008 SN 206 and need the same fix - The part number is RA119005 and I just order one from Nautiqueparts as I am having the same issues - when I push the shift lever to the forward indent I then have to push the lever much further before the throttle begins to accelerate.
          Thanks!
