First - DO NOT use any fuel with Ethanol in it. The ethanol will slowly damage your fuel system. Find a source for clear gas.

As far as oil goes, your engine has flat tappets so you will need to run an oil with a high amount of zinc. Oils with a ZDDP measurement of OVER 1400 ppm will be fine. I run Valvoline 20W50 Racing Oil in mine as it has the correct zinc content. 10W30 or 10W40 was the original manufacturer's (PCM) recommendation.

I used Shell Rotella 15W-40 for 20 years on that engine with no problems. Regular gas should be fine.

Mobile 1 15w50 is the only weight that is good for both flat tappet and roller lifter engines . I use it in all my boats. I have 5 boats ranging from 84 to 2008 I have always used the cheapest fuel available . Maybe I am just lucky but I have never had any fuel related problems in any of them . If you want some extra insurance add some marine stabil when you add gas it wont hurt anything.
