2003 TPS Fault - See Dealer

Need some advice. Few weekends ago I was out on my 2003 Ar Nautique 210 (5.7 engine) for an allday event. Never checked the the bildge or turned the bilge on to pump the water that was in the bildge. I was up on plane and headed back in and the boat became very sluggish and stalled out. Checked the engine compartment (V-drive) and noticed a fair amount of water on board. Pumped the water out and started the boat back up. Ran kind of sluggish but, seemed to be improving after a few minutes. The TPS Fault- See Dealer error came across the dispaly, I tried resetting it like the manual says, but the the error continues to keep coming up. So, I swapped the TPS Sensor with an AC Delco TPS sensor from autozone. Put the new TPS sensor in and still had the code coming up and the engine would idle at 1000rpm which was not normal. So I put the old TPS back on and still have the TPS Fault error. Please help me address the problem.

I think you have a Relearn procedure to do when installing a new tps sensor. Search the forum it has come up a few times. The idle will be off until the computer knows what closed throttle and wide open throttle are.
