i was on my third rider and just filled the ballast for the third rider. i took off and boat planed out fine. then i had to turn hard left and then she spit and sputterd. motor almost died but then after i straitened up she slowly regained speed with hesitation. she ran fine for the rest of the pull. next rider, hesitation on take off again but ran good when up to speed. sitting at idle i hear the rpms drop and seen them at 400, then motor died and not restart. it would fire then die. fire then die.
so my question is bad gas?? im going to drain fuel seperator and see whats in the fuel bowl. but i have had the boat for many years with no problems. i have read about distributor stuff but not sure what else. i was at 1/2 tank too. i filled it up saturday and used it sat sun and monday off the one tank.
