A friend wants me to help him winterize his 2010 409, which i have not done before. if i understand the manual correctly since it is ces engine you don't have to drain the exhaust manifolds. You drain the heat exchanger, transmission cooler, and v drive, and seawater pump.
I was thinking since antifreeze is in block and nothing has to heat the thermostat to open, wouldn't on his it be way easier to just use the 5 gallon bucket, rv antifreeze and fake a lake? It is straight thru those components listed above out the back of the boat, you see pink you are done.
There is no risk of something not opening on his correct?
