    8.2L Python Oil Filter Location

I have just now started to do my own maintenance on a 2001 SAN. It has a Python 8.2L. I have looked high and mostly low for the oil filter and just can't see it anywhere. Can any of you Gurus' give me a pointer or two. Exasperated and any help much appreciated. Thx.

For your boat, a remote filter kit would be a good investment. Not sure why they didn't use them on the Python engines. I had a Python (8.2) in a DD and even in that configuration changing the filter was a PITA!

Thanks Guys. I wonder if ANYONE has ever changed my filter? I have had two oil changes since I got the boat. The idea of a remote filter relocation is a very, very good one.
