Just sold my 2014 G to my cousin and he's having problems with the NSS. It makes an awful sound but it does deploy, sometimes it throws a circuit fault. Assume the actuator needs to be replaced (since there was nothing stuck between the plate and the hull)? 725 hours on the boat.
So if that's right, its relatively easy to get one but our question comes on the "how" to replace it. Things seems straightforward from the outside but how do you get access to the wire on the inside of the hull and how is it fed through? Will we also need a special sealant? Anyone have pics? Didn't see the wire in the subfloor ballast access hatch so assume access is gained somewhere in the engine compartment?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Andrew
