Just got a new 2015 230 with the 343 and it keeps throwing warning code "DTC1415: EMWT1 higher than expected stage 1" warnings. I read in previous post that this was a known issue back in 2012-13 but I was uncertain if anyone had a similar issue in a 2015? My engine temps were all ok, water intake/outlets/filter are not clogged, so i'm at a loss, other than a defective sensor? Any one else had this experience?

This happened with my '12 210 TE with the 343. It was a factory defect that PCM corrected by installing new manifold cooling. Same error code, though. The EMWT01 is 'exhaust manifold water temp' which means either the water in your manifold is too hot ( not cooling enough to, manifold is overheating) or the sensors *think* the manifold water temp is too hot... Either way, probably a PCM issue that your local dealer can look into under warranty.

I have had this same issue all summer. I too had the software updated by the dealer. The warning continued to appear consistently when the water temps were in the mid to upper 70's and the boat was being operated at a slow speed (7mph or less). When the warning came on, we would increase boat speed to improve cooling and then clear the warning. Now that the water temps are in the mid to low 60's, I have yet to see the warning.

It will fix it. My 2015 210 did the same thing. Dealer ship "reflashed" took 15 mins and hasn't done it again.
I thought the 1235 was stock on 2015 230? From what I understand if you are surfing/wakeboarding that's the prop you need for that boat.
