Drive shaft question 2001 air nautique

I'm 99% sure I bent my drive shaft on my 2001 air nautique. Got into a rock right next to the boat ramp and bent the prop. Put a rebuilt prop and a brand new one on and the boat still vibrates with throttle. I'm assuming my drive shaft has to be bent. So my real question is, how do I know what length of drive shaft to buy? Does length have any affect on performance? Or do they sell different lengths just to fit a particular boat? Any advice would be appreciated!

You need to pull the shaft and check it for straightness. Below is an illustration I got from RepairEngineering.com that shows you how to check using a dial indicator:

Just send it to General Propeller in Florida they build them there I sure they can repair it if possible.

If you bent your shaft, the strut may also be bent. Be sure to check that using a straight shaft. Check for alignment with the shaft in the strut and passing through the log. You will also have to do a shaft-to-transmission coupling alignment.
