Has anyone winterized the 343 themselves and/or have photos/suggestions. I am a good ways away from my dealer and need to do it myself. I have previously winterized all our other nautique boats, but since this will be my first time on a our 2015 SAN 230 just wondered if there were any quirks or unique things to be aware of. Its an open cooled system with no heater.

You need a big crescent wrench fit the manifold plugs. It's pretty straight forward. Your manual has a great diagram of exactly where all the plugs are in the engine. Just don't forget the ballast system.

The diagram is a little vague when it comes to #1 (knock sensors). Just make sure you take the WHOLE thing out and not just the bolt that holds the sensor in place. I believe you need a 1" or 1-1/16" wrench. I also take the water and ballast pumps apart to inspect/change the impellers."I'm on a boat........"

I've just gotten to the draining aspect of winterizing my "new to me" 343 and can't figure out how to get the knock sensor plug off in order to get a wrench on the sensor. Looks like there's a gray lock that maybe needs to be pushed in before the plug can be pulled off, but it doesn't seem to want to budge. Am I missing something, here?'08 Super Air Nautique 210
