    Battery Upgrade?

Hello, New to PN. I would like to know for my 2004 SANTE if it is possible to upgrade the batteries to a group 31. The plastic "buckets" in the floor of the boat are only 12" long and will not fit any battery larger than a group 24. Does anyone have any experience or advice on this? We are looking to get a configuration for longer battery life at the tie up with the stereo system blasting. We have upgraded kicker amps, subwoofer and Roswell tower speakers. Right now we are getting about hours. I would like a battery which has about 200 minutes reserve.

Leave one group-24 in one of the OEM wells and then relocate the house batteries to the port mid-ship locker. Consider a pair of 6V golf cart batteries.

TH Marine makes trays that specifically fit the Optima group 31s. I pulled my 2 old trays and replaced with 3 of these so that I could run 3 batteries. They are about $15 each depending on where you get them.
