    330 Excalibur photos needed

I am helping a friend with a recently purchased 02 SANTE with 330 Ex. Upon inspection last night I noticed the v-belt on the water pump/ alternator was rubbing on the water hose from the strainer to the thermostat housing. It also appeared that the clearance between the crank pulley and water pump was extremely close. Can some please post a few photos of front of their motor for my reference? It has had a recent motor install and am not so sure that something was changed during the process.

I can get some photos tonight when I get home. Front, side shot and top down showing belts and clearences. You said V-belt, that is what mine is.

Here you go. Let me know if you need anything else. Just in case you were not aware, my boat is a 206, not a SAN. Sorry, can't get the last two photos to rotate properly.

Thank you very much. Your bilge is incredibly clean not to mention the engine as well. Can you tell me how much clearance is between your water and crank pulleys?

          Thanks.

As to the clearance, are you talking about the space between the pulley of each? Raw water or circulating pump...or both.

Well, hope this photo helps. No real need to measure since the pulleys are so close. Let me know if you need more.

                    Skidave,
I have determined from your photos that the clamp that attaches to the circulation pump is missing and causing the alternator belt to rub on the hose in two places. My friend found the clamp down in the bilge while he was pressure washing so once I have the new hose from NP it will be all good.
