2012 Ski 200 shower install - hot water source

Trying to install a shower on my new to me 2012 200 OB and it appears there are knock sensors on both sides of the block. Is there another hot source that can be used? Can I install a T on one of the sensors and run the shower and sensor from the same port? Thanks for any help.

I would take it from the heater connection point. Instructions are below for both the 5.7L and the 6L engines.

I have the 5.7L 343 and it already has a heater. Maybe there is a way to Y or T that connection on the intake manifold.

I have the Catanium 343 with the factory heater and I did just that on mine, pulled the factory fitting for the heater, brought it to the hardware store and picked up a brass tee with the same threads and reused the factory fitting with it. That way if I needed to pull my transom shower I have everything I need right there to go back to stock and my onboard tools are adequate to do the job.

For the cold water side I used a 32mm aluminum radiator coolant sensor adapter between the raw water pump and the engine with a 2" section of 1-1/4id hose so that it also fell into that same category of quick removal with basic hand tools and the parts already in place.
