Power Supply Issue, I think..? Boat shuts off randomly

I need some suggestion in figuring out this problem on my 97 SN gt-40. I have a 2 battery setup with a "battery 1" and "battery 1 and 2" switch.

My boat has been randomly turning off when it runs on battery 1 only. It has no trouble restarting and it happens intermittently and not too frequently. I also noticed that my radio keeps turning on and off does not have good FM reception. There is a loud buzzing like a bad ground or engine noise coming through the speakers. My amp will go into "protected" mode when running on battery 1 only.

When I run the boat in the "combine battery" switch mode everything works fine. Amp stays on, boat stays on, radio has fm reception and the buzzing through the speakers is there but minimal. I already cleaned battery connection.

    Any suggestions?

Sounds like the random turing off could be the actual switch... Did you look at the back of the switch connections to be sure no corrosion and that they are tight?

I would check the lanyard switch. However buzzing through the speakers would suggest a ground concern.
