Air Nautique 226 - Tracks / Pulls Right

I just bought a 2005 Nautique 226. It's my first V Drive and a big upgrade from my 1988 Mastercraft.

I'm noticing that when on plane, the boat pulls to the left. Not aggressively, but I can't take my hand off the wheel.

Is this normal , or something I can adjust?

Pretty sure you just need to adjust the rudder trim tab.

So is it right or left? Your title says one thing g but post says another. You shouldn't have to fight it or muscle it , but you should be getting a little "pull". . Meaning if you take you hand off the wheel it should go slightly off center. This gives your day maintains the "positive feedback" on the steering and helps your boat track straight with minor adjustments to the wheel when a rider is in tow. More pronounced at ski speeds than wakeboard speeds.

I am not sure on your year if there is an adjustment on the rudder or not.

Have the same year 226. Adjust rudder trim. If steering harder to right (I think) you may need new steering cable.

Sorry, it's pulling LEFT. How do I adjust the rudder trim?

My logic would tell me to adjust it to the left. Loosen the two screws, move it and retighten. Simple.
