    2008 sv211 floor removal

How do I remove the rear upholstered panel so that I can remove the floor. I have read some post stating that it is connected with tree posts, however, mine is connected another way. I have some screws with nuts to undo and it looks like there may be a hook holding it in. Has anyone experienced something similar?

There were two, or maybe three threaded rods that go from that upholstered piece, through the fiberglass liner, and into the engine compartment. They had large washers and nuts that I had to undo to fully remove that back rest. They were near the top, so when looking in the engine compartment, the nuts and washers will be very near that aluminum bar that runs across the engine compartment from port to starboard, that is directly below the fiberglass lip/channel that the engine compartment cover sits on. There may have been "hooks" that go into holes, but if you pick up slightly on the backrest, they come right out.

If you need help later today, let me know and I will send pics.

On mine, I do not have to remove the entire panel, the bottom panel is separate from the top and pulls out by itself. It is attached with the Christmas tree studs.

Thanks for the info. 3 screws on port side, 1 tree post on starboard side and 3 hooks on the top. I got it off.
