Hardwiring video on G23

Has anyone run a RCA from the Gopro mount on the tower to the linc screen? I'm thinking about making a mount for a regular camera then feeding it to the screen so the driver can see what is being recorded. The gopro really isn't the best camera for recording wakeboarding.

If anyone has any pointers I'd appreciate it. Hopefully it's not necessary to drill any holes.

In amazon you can find adaptors that allows you to pass from Gopro mount to a regular screw one. There are several solutions. I took a cheap one circa 3$ because my camera is light. However you can unscrew the gopro mount and install a proper one.
However, keep in mind that it is only worth for training purposes as you can check your mistakes. If you are looking for a nice video, the view from the tower down to the skier is terrible as the jumps look really low.
For nice videos you need a camera guy at transom level, a second boat or a slider...
