    Oh yeah ^^ I didn't notice that. 3M Finesse it and perfect it are two totally different products. 3M Perfect it is more of a fast cutting compound while finesse it is more of a finish polish. Make sure you have those in the correct order and are using a good quality compound.

      Yes I did the cutting compound first and then the finesse it. I was just listing the products I used that one of the post asked. Should I have my buffer at a high, medium, or slower speed.

        I usually apply the product on the pad, then put the polisher on a slower setting (2), put the pad against the surface, then turn the machine on and work the product over the desired area. Then I turn the speed up. If you are using a wool pad with a cutting compound however, I leave the speed lower, say around 2-3k rpms. Polishing products on foam pads I usually turn up to about 5-6k rpms. Seems to work well for me. But maybe somebody else can comment if they know of better settings. I'm no pro, just a DIY'er

          May want to even do the compound on an even slower setting, like around 1500-2000rpms
