FLUSH PRO - Does/has anybody used one on their G23?

Come next month I will be new to Nautique so I'm sure I'll have many questions. But first up, I was wondering if anybody has used one of these on a newer Nautique, specifically a G23?

If so, which size? 1" or 1.25" (I would assume 1.25")? If not, would one of these cause any implications with the sea strainer? I would like to have something like this for ease of maintenance (mostly oil changes).

I installed this kit by Marine Technolighes and yes the hose is 1.25" diameter. Looks like it's gone up $10 from when I ordered it last fall, but at $98 it's still competitive with the Perko Flush Pro. This kit comes with a quick disconnect, so I made up a 6 foot hose that I can hook to a water hose or pump antifreeze from a bucket for winterization. If you keep the hose in the boat, you could also use the engine as a emergency bilge pump. All you do is shut off the raw water intake, turn on water and open the valve on the flush kit to run the engine. Open raw water intake and shut flsuh valve when done! I've seen people make kits from the hardware store, but when I went to source similar parts it added up quick.

Thanks thtrog! I actually like this kit better...I trust the brass a little more than plastic! I was afraid that the plastic Flush Pro kit could possibly break if water was left in it over winter. I also have an Extreme Heater that I use over winter just as a safety precaution. My only concern with using a kit like this is that I don't have the best water pressure at my home and I'm afraid the boat may try to suck more than my home source can supply. Although, I could still use this kit in conjunction with a filled 5 gal bucket (kind of like the antifreeze pic above) with a water hose continually adding water to the bucket. Still afraid it may run out of water though if left running for a little while.
