    SV211 Heater location

Can anyone tell me where the OEM heater is located on the SV211? I'm looking at installing one and have a few places in mind but I was wanting to know the best location (or at least what the factory considers the best location) Thanks.

I only know this because when I picked up the boat, we went on a test ride, and there was water flowing into the engine compartment, so the dealer said they would replace the heater core. I asked how long that would take and he said 30 minutes. I went with the tech and he pulled the trash can out (there is like 5 or 6 screws) and there is really a big open area in that out cropping where the trash can is and the cooler is formed under that seat. Hope this helps.

Thanks - that helps. It should be an easy install there.

There is a board glassed into the hull for mounting the heater to, and mine already had a harness connection in there to power the unit. I installed the three port unit and it was a tight fit, but worked out. Puts out LOTS of HEAT

Thanks, found the harness and the glassed in panel - I knew the wiring harness and mounting point had to be there somewhere. That's going to make the install much easier.
