Is anyone having an issue with the depth sensor silencer in their Linc 2.0? Depressing the button will not get it to stop beeping.

pre 2010 - various open bow boats and jet skis -
Went down to the dock yesterday to hang out and played around with the silencer button. It worked when the Linc screen was in the GPS mode. I think this has got to be a software issue (?) as the option for the silencer comes up on the home screen.
