Throttle Control Play

Hi Planet Nautique'rs,

Quick question. The throtte control on my 02 Ski Nautique has an inch or so of play. See Youtube video below. I took a peak on the backside and didn't see anyplace I could tighten it up. The chrome ring is snug and the throttle mechanism flexes both forward/aft and side to side. Is there a simple way to snug that up? I looked in the owner's manual but it doesn't say anything about tightening the mechanism.

On older models there was a set screw at the base of the throttle handle that may be loose....not sure on this year model though.

Looks like your right. I'll take an Allen wrench and try and snug it up!

Thanks again. That was a 30 second fix. I like those. Just replaced my steering cable. That wasn't as easy. Especially after dislocating a shoulder 1/2 through...
