I know this topic came up before about the Excalibur 330 and maybe 343 remote oil filter hoses leaking. I noticed this last year and this year I monitored the issue. The leak looks like it occurs around the crimp connector on both the supply and return lines. In the photo, you can see where the oil has collected on the collars. I placed paper towels in various areas to see if the leak was happening around the crimp (hose side) or just on the top side where the metal pipes meet the hose collars. Looks like it is just the metal pipe side. In the summer, there was no leak at all throughout the season. It only occurs over a long lay-up or cold temps. I store my boat in my garage (2 car, normal size for new construction) and I monitored the temperature in the engine compartment this winter. Nothing below 40'F. The fact it does not leak when hot is a good thing.
I know crimp fittings from hoses to pipes can be a problem. I had one go bad on my wife's car on the AC low pressure side. It was an easy repair I did with a refrigeration guy at work...and he said crimped hoses tend to fail like that often.
