Intermittent gauges 2006 Sante 210

I'm having problems with the smaller round gauges, volts, oil pressure on the right side of the dash console. They are going dead intermittently, freezing in last position and backlight going out. The 2006 210 has a different faria gateway then the 2005, no pitot tubes. I opened the gateway, no corrosion inside and everything looked fine, connections to individual gauges behind console are all secure..... Any ideas? Faria does not sell nor will they repair the gateway

I had an 06 210 and the same issue with a couple small gauges. I would check all grounds first, then make sure there is no corrosion in the connectors for the gauges. The gauges daisy chain from one to another I believe. I would definitely change the gauge before the gateway box. The little ones are about 80 dollars from np. And that was the fix for mine. Not saying this is your issue but figured I would chime in. You are correct they changed the gateway box in 06. While we are on the topic anyone know what year they stopped using gateway boxes? Or are they still being used in Nautiques today?

Anybody have a way to test these guages to see if it's the guage? I totally agree about not replacing the GW0019C if I don't have to since they are hard to find and cost $1500!!! I also dont want to replace the gauge for $80 and then find out its the gateway. Im wondering if the fact that the internal lighting in the gauge is not working also points to it being a gauge failure?

I had issues with mine and ended up being the gauges. Got mine from a fellow PN member who upgraded his to the newer style, which came out looking great.

Well it just so happens that the only gauges that aren't working are the voltmeter and the fuel gauge, they are also the ones that don't light up with the light switch. I'm thinking its probably the gauges.

I would pull the dash off and look at the wiring before ordering new gauges. The wiring is daisy-chained on those gauges I believe, and a break or short in one wire can cause issues on multiple gauges, depending on where the wiring issue is.

Still have this problem, I pulled the dash checked all the wiring and cleaned every connector, everything looks good. It's always the same 4 small gauges on the far right, sometimes 2 will work, sometimes only 1, or sometimes none work. Occasionally they all work. All the large gauges on the rest of the panel work fine with no issues. I think it is probably an internal gateway issue. Really dont want to spend $1500 or whatever it is to replace the gateway.

Try swapping places with a gauge that works, the daisy chain wiring allows you to put the small gauges in whatever order you want.

If the gauge is working in a spot closer to the gateway then it would be a wiring issue.

Yea but what kind of wiring issue......?? I I pull the temp gauge which is working right now and put it in a different place and it works,,,,or doesnt work, and I put another gauge in that place what does that tell me?
