I have a 2001 SAN with a cracked block due to improper winterizing by the previous owner. I am putting in a new short block. Heads checked out perfect, but the lower intake manifold is cracked. Turns out it's a difficult part to find. The only automotive application that used the same one is the 93-95 Ford F-150 Lightning. Anyone out there have one? Either PCM or the Ford part.

Good luck with the hunt as those intakes are getting more and more rare. Here is a link to a Lightning forum I'm a member of... http://www.nloc.net/vbforum/forumdis...84-Gen-1-Parts I didn't see any intakes for sale in the first few pages, but didn't look in the links for "parts for sale". Ebay is probably your best chance as it looks like there are a few there right now. You may also want to try a few of the Mustang forums as well and maybe get lucky for some old parts hoarder looking to get rid of stuff.Jason

Yeah good luck! That's a very specific part. Also is the Lightning intake aluminum? The marine intake is obviously cast. Try correct craft fan also.

Yes the vehicle lower intakes are aluminum... There was actually cast iron intake on eBay last night I noticed. Said it was removed from an OMC engine which surprised me as I didn't know they used the GT-40.
