I have a 1990 SN trailer and was looking to upgrade to new tires and rims, using one of the old tires as a spare and getting a mount for the trailer. When I took a look at the tires that are on there now they are Goodyear ST205/75R15's. I have been able to find replacements for the 5 lug, but the trailer I have has 6 lugs. It seems as though finding a rim and tire that matched these specs is not realistic. Is the 6 lug a dieing breed or do I need to part this out, by buying the rims and tires seperately? Thanks for the help.

RE: 1990 Trailer Tire ?
Most likely, you have a 6x5.5" bolt pattern. In searching, it doesnt seem quite as common as the 5x4.5", but you still have options. Try searching for "trailer wheel" "6x5.5" or "6-lug."
I found some here: http://www.trailer-parts-forless.com...heels_only.htm
and here: http://shop.easternmarine.com/index....categoryID=162
Also try ebay. As far as tires go, many people here have had good luck with Goodyear Marathons.
Good luck.1990 Ski Nautique

RE: 1990 Trailer Tire ?
If you want a more standard wheel, you can just change out the hubs and go with the 5X4.5 chevy lug pattern.
W/O brakes it is not that big of a deal or a big cost (less than $60 in parts for the hubs already packed) then you can get replacement rims about anywhere.
Also most trailer stores should have some of the others, just not as large a selection.
Try champion trailer parts. The are a catalog sale outfit from Lousiana.

RE: 1990 Trailer Tire ?
I got a rim to match the original ones on my trailer at discount tires.
My trailer also had 15" 6 lug on 5.5 rims.
Here's a link to their online store: http://www.discounttire.com
Just do a wheel search by size Wheel Diameter 15" Bolt pattern 6-139.7mm/6-5.5 and you will find several options. The store I went to even had it in stock. As a side note I did have a hard time finding a spare tire mount for this bolt pattern so had one fabricated and welded to the trailer instead.97 Ski Nautique 196
