2004 SANTE oil pressure and fuel guage not working

At the end of the season, I thought I noticed my fuel guage not working. I took out the Faria gateway box and checked it for moisture - there was none.

When I put the boat in the water for the first time this year, all gauges worked fine. The the last time I started it up for the weekend, the fuel and oil pressure guage are not working.. I tend to think it's something other than the gateway, since all other gauges are working fine. Has anyone else had this issue?

Most likely your gauges have failed. I had to replace both my Oil Preasure and Water temp gauges because they failed. Look on the digital readout as it will also have the oil Preasure readout. If this works your Oil gauge is bad.

Like First226 said your gauges have gone bad. I had to replace a few gauges in my 2006 SV-211 when I replaced gauge everything worked fine!

That's kind of what I was thinking, just strange they both seemed to go out around the same time. However, sometimes one starts working, or the other one starts working, or they both work, or both don't work. The digital oil pressure display works all the time, but I wasn't sure if that came from the same source. Also, the low fuel doesn't flash on the digital display, so that makes sense too.

Seems like the gauges aren't cheap, so maybe I'll do one at a time to make sure.

I just ordered the fuel gauge, so we'll try that one first. Unfortunately the oil pressure gauge is no longer available. That sucks, as the replacement doesn't match!

If anyone knows where to get an original style oil pressure gauge please let me know. Thanks!

I believe you can send it in to manufacturer and they'll fix it and send it back. Worth looking into

So the good news is that I put in the new fuel gauge and it seems to work great. The bad mews is that I checked on getting the oil pressure gauge repaired and it's an 8 week turnaround. I'm going to call them to confirm, but if that's correct I'm going to deal with the intermitently working gauge for the summer and get it repaired after the season. I still have the digital readout.
