Trailer brakes question

Hey guys, I have a 2007 tandem axle Phoenix trailer with hydraulic disc brakes.

They are completely shot and need new lines, calipers, master cylinder, and either new rotors or resurfacing.

Are there any good kits out there for a reasonable price that you would recommend? Easy to do a google search and find a ton of results but wanted to get some input before jumping into it without good information. How difficult of a job is this to do on a trailer?

Not really that difficult to do but time consuming. Kodiak or UFP make good systems.

If it has 4 wheel disc I would only go back with a 2 wheel system JMHO.

I probably have the exact trailer you have. I replaced the calipers, rotors, bearings (inner and outer) and flushed the lines. I have a master cylinder, but never installed it as replacing the rest of the components "fixed the glitch" of the brakes dragging and not releasing. http://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/fo...epair-question This was an answer to a previous question about them, but I ordered kits to just replace it all and order it from pacifictrailers.com If you have specific questions, let me know. a lot of my worries were answered when I watched those youtube videos and realized it was much simpler than I thought.

I just replaced my actuator with one from www.Sturdybuiltonline.com, best prices I could find and they price match...

Oh, and I made a self bleeder out if the old actuator fluid cap and a pump sprayer... Just tap the correct thread size of the pump sprayer wand thread and plug the little hole (if there is one) in the cap... Worked great.

Might give the guys at UFP a direct call, they were very helpful. Prices were factory direct and comparable to anyone else. They also helped me convert from single axle brakes to dual. They also gave me free bearing buddies and caps to eliminate the oil bath bearings. They weren't designed to be submerged and were experiencing large number of failures. Really helpful tech service engineers.
