UPDATE:
I removed the Throttle body yesterday and cleaned it up. I also removed the IAC valve off and it seems to be seized up. Anyone know how easily it should be for it to move? I took it apart and cleaned it but it is still difficult for it to move in and out. This might be the reason for the loud intake noise coming from the throttle body. Is this a PCM only item or can I get it from the local parts store?
Ill also pick up some plugs and wires from the parts store and swap those to rule that out as well.
Getting the timing right is definitely a must as well. This boat is part of the PCM cam retard recall and needs to be set correctly and with 1500hrs on the motor it is probably way out of wack now.
Cap and rotor have been replaced and the wires and in the correct order.
