I recently purchased a 2003 Super Air Nautique Team Edition 210 with the Excaliber motor. I got a decent deal on it (so I thought) because it wasn't running very well on the test drive. It would bog down when we hit the throttle but would eventually plane out and run good. I figured it was just some bad gas left untreated over the summer. It only had 1/4 tank of fuel so on the way home we put some fuel treatment in there and filled it up with good fuel. I swapped the fuel filter, threw on some new belts and cleaned the throttle body. I figured this would take care of the issue.
Well now it won't rev up enough to get over 5mph bogging the whole time. It will rev all the way up when I put it in reverse though. Think it could be the fuel pump? Low pressure or High Pressure? I am at a loss at this point on what else it could be and I am losing precious boarding time.
Thoughts?
