    Dry sensor location

2006 SV11. My starboard and port ballast have stopped draining after I replaced impellers in a wake makers piggyback upgrade. Gauges do not work either, but tanks fill fine. I've read many threads about the dry run sensor, but not sure where it's located, any guidance would me appreciated.

It's up under the dash more toward the gunwale of the boat and kinda looks like the backside of a gauge. Try taking off and cleaning the connections to it first.

The tank senders maybe broken, remove and inspect...will not empty if reading empty because of no signal. Also check the wires connection to the gauges

This is the top view that you won't be able to see. Look under and you'll see the white round part of this part.
            Hope this helps

Thanks for all the info, going to check sending units today, then sensor. Is there any way to bypass the sensor?

F.Y.I. i have a 2005 Sv211 that has/had sorta the same problem. ..worked so hard worth the dealer to find the problem. ..took the entire season last year. ..finally at the end of the season after taking it in to the dealer and still could not find the problem, cause of course that day it worked fine, on the way home stopped midway at a river with a laugh to test it. .boom was not working again. ..so now we tested some more and finally pin pointed the fuse box under the dash has a hole bunch of relays in there. ..and you can here the darn thing click but nothing happens. ..so the ordered me a new fuse /relay box and hopefully this will solve the problem. ..
But for the longest time they to thought it was the sensor. ..had nothing to do with that. .

Can someone tell me how to remove the sensor, looks like I will have to take the dash cover off to get to the screws.

Should be in the compartment in the walkway area if that boat has a compartment there.

My ballast gauges all 3 stay on empty but do move slightly up to the E when I power up the boat. I was able to get my starboard tank to drain but its hit or miss. The port and belly do not get power in discharge. I do however hear the relays click in the gateway box. Would this still point to a possible issues with the dry run sensor?
