Unfortunately, I have a lot of experience pin pointing overheating issues on a 2007 year boat. If your overheating at idle but not at cruise I would check for air leaks. More than likely around your strainer.
It also could not hurt to check your impeller. If your boat is closed cooling check the raw water side for debris in the exchanger. Once you have checked all of these areas, you should be good to go!
Good luck!

Check the strainer. Then check the impeller. A damaged impeller won't suck at idle , but the pressure caused by the scupper moving through the water will usually force enough to cool the engine. Those would be my 1st two places. My guess is the impeller
If you do find it shredded check all the lines for debrisLast edited by swatguy; 05-14-2016, 11:38 PM.

Drain the sea strainer, attach, start the boat, count 1 one thousand, 2 one thousand, 3 up to 5. If it's filled by 5 impeller good, if not change.2013 SANTE 210
