Gel Coat Repair Question

Do you need to put a piece of plastic (saran wrap) over the gel after filling a spot??? I bought the Spectrum kit, and it doesn't say to do it, but all the videos I see, people are doing it. Any info would be great, thanks

It doesn't hurt. Helps to level out the repair so you have less sanding to do

Yes, get clear packing tape. You want to seal out all the air you can from the curing gelcoat. And like xlair said, it helps to level out the repair too, so less sanding is required.
