Hey guys just got the skins from a PN member that had them on hand and sold his boat. Greatly appreciated! Going to be changing up my interior a bit now. All seat "bases" will be white"ish" vinyl with grey accent piping. Pulled them out and did a quick test fit on the seats with the old upholstery still on. Really excited about how they will turn out!
And here is the test fit on all the bow cushions and the 3 bench seats.
Tools for project:
Nothing special, you don't need a fancy staple gun. It's just what I use, not essential at all. Everything else is old school slow and steady. You can get all sorts of specialty tools at fabric stores to assist. I have just been too lazy to go get them, and every time I regret it! Biggest thing I want is the upholstery staple remover. Makes life a lot easier and the removal of old skins a lot faster!
I'll post along the way to show how I am doing things so others can learn from my mistakes. I have done quite a bit of upholstery so this should be a breeze seeing that I didn't have to create the skins myself this time!
