    Perfect pass 220

Does anybody know the correct settings of Perfect pass for a new 220 air nautique ? We have tried several settings for KDW and NN but could not find the correct settings.

Fluctuations in speed were around 4 to 6 KPH with almost all settings we have tried.

    Anybody ?

    ps. only stock ballast.

you are off that much between PP and the speedo or it is going up and down that much? Lower your KDW setting if that is the case. What are they set to now?

My buddy this weekend had the same problem on his 06 210 SANTE. (Or should I say Air 210 !!). The PP speed seems to fluctuate more than usual, i.e. 4 - 6 KPH and we have no idea how to solve it. Also the bleeper does not 'bleep' when it reaches speed, but PP still works. Again he had stock ballast only, but it just seemed to struggle holding a consistent speed.

Any replies during this thread would be useful to us too..

      Thanks in advance...

The Perfect pass is going up and down with around 4 to 6 kph..
The initial settings were 120 for KDW and 80 for NN. We have changed them to all kinds of different settings from all the way up to all the way down.

But it kept doing the same thing...

try restoring the factory settings. also i think there are more settings (CR?) that you can play with.

There seems more problems with the 2006 PerfectPass. Perhaps contacting the dealer about this.

Also, check if the throttle wire from the servo runs freely.

I have a 2006 X-Star which uses the same electronic throttle system and I had the same problem.
I also had weird stuff that clearly was caused by software 'bugs'. Like a quick up-down-up-down throttling and going a fixed 3mph slower than the set speed.
Perfect Pass send me a new chip that fixed this weird stuff.
The speed problem was fixed by new settings. I will get he settings of my boat later and post them.

the latest settings for 2006 models are as follows:
                KDW 60-90
                NN 10-20
                CS 730-755

These settings are to be used when the boat is being run at capacity level. Hope this helps.

I "PERFECTED" mine a little bit last year, with the help of my 3 year old son, so it's all screwed up. Dealer told me told that there are instructions to return to the original factory settings, he implied they are in the manual, hold 2 bottoms till it resets?????. I have not looked yet. He said that after you re-set, it will ask you about the engine, and if you have the 6.0 answer yes, otherwise answer no. He said if you set up with the wrong engine the PP will hunt 4-6 MPH.

2fat2ski, thank you. Sorry for the delay in responding but not been out with the boat for a while. I punched in the settings you gave me and they made a great difference and worked first time - spot on !

Fluctuation is now less +/- 1kph

                      Thanks again, its appreciated...
