Steering hard on 2009 SAN 210

Hello.....my 2009 SAN 210 is hard to steer when turning to the left. It is not as bad to the right. Any suggestions on what the issue might be and how it can be resolved? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

My 2008 SANTE 220 got very hard to turn. It got so bad my arms were dead after a day on the lake. Over the winter I replaced the steering cable and now you can turn it with just two fingers under full power. It was kind of a pain to change but I couldn't be happier with the results. You may have to take the same route.

I wondered if the cable might be the issue. What is involved in replacing the cable and do you think I can do it myself or is that something I need to have done. My electronic panel is just underneath the steering wheel.
