1999 SAN Best way to drain bad fuel from gas tank???

You could go and get a fuel safe fluid hand pump (harbor freight has a cheap one). Then loosen the hose clamps on one of the fuel lines coming from the fuel fill, remove the hose, and put the drain hose from the hand pump into the fuel tank.
That was how I did it when I had to remove my gas tank. It was a pain and took forever to pump out 10gal so that my tank was empty enough to remove. You could probably pull the tank once it's light enough and tip it to be able to drain all of the gas out with the hand pump. Be very very careful about sparks or flames igniting the gas.

How much fuel is in there and how bad is it? Has it been sitting a while and you want to drain before attempting to start? If it starts and runs rough you might want to try putting some SeaFoam and see if that helps before going through the trouble of draining the tank. If it runs better with the SeaFoam then I would top off with fresh fuel to dillute the bad fuel.
Got any pics of your boat? Love those Pythons!Shawn

Thank you for the info. I ended up removing the floor panel to get to the tank. Then I removed the fuel tank float sensor to insert a hose to pump out the gas with a gas safe siphon. Then I added some fresh gas and pumped that out too. I also drained the old fuel from the bottom of the fuel cell. Finally bought new batteries, added seafoam, fresh gas and the boat runs like a champ.
