    2001 SAN 1200 RPM Light

I have a question. This weekend out and I noticed about 2 or 3 times we would be going and it almost sounded like the prop wasn't spinning with the shaft. Only happened those few times and then the light came on to not operate over 1200 RPMs. It was the end of the weekend and I pulled the boat out. Noticed I got some kind of rope wrapped around my prop shaft. Must have been a rope in the lake and is small and seemed to be wrapped around the shaft about 3 times right at the prop. I have not noticed any other issues while using the boat. Do you know what else would make that like stay on? Thank you in advance.

Have you checked your transmission and v-drive fluid levels and condition?

Yup. Light on usually means trans fluid level is low
