    Priming Aerator Pumps

I have a center bag in my ski locker (00 SAN) that I am having issues getting to drain. I just replaced the aerator pumps for this. I have a fill and drain both mounted at the stock location horizontally just below the engine. The fill/drain line is the same line and runs under the gas tank to the sac. I then have a vent hose with a check valve that vents to a thru hull next to the driver seat. I am able to get the sac to fill, but I am having trouble getting it to drain. The pump just runs but won't prime. I am guessing I have air in my lines, but am not sure how people typically address this. Is it better to fill the sac all the way to the point where it comes out the vent and then drain? Should I remount the drain pump next to the sac so it primes easier? Thanks.

Best option is to fill bag completely then give it a nice push by stepping on it to prime. See if that pushes the air out.

Next best option is like you mentioned. Relocate the pump closer to bag.

Marry and empty as you're getting on plane to get the pumps primed a little better
