Replacement bilge pumps for '08 230?

a few posts here about ballast pumps, has anybody tried a "standard" Rule Automatic 800 gph pump to replace the OEM 500 gph unit? Nautiqueparts has them, but doesn't list the capacity, and their "OEM" version has a GM "weatherpak" quick disconnect, not the CC/Nautique white quick disconnect.
If yes, did the standard Rule come with 3 wires? What/how did you deal with the third wire if you didn't/don't want to add a manual override switch?

I'll answer my own post here as I replaced my original bilge pump with another Rule automatic, although I went with a 800GPH unit (why not??) as opposed to the OE 500GPH unit. The 800GPH unit comes with a third lead for a manual override option. I didn't use the manual override wire, just tie wrapped it up out of the way.
The connector is the one Nautiqueparts.com sells on their OE replacement version for those who prefer a "plug and play" option.
