2002 Air Nautique Driver's side Floor board getting extremely hot?????

My 2002 Air Nautique driver's side floor board is getting extremely hot after a half hour or more of wake surfing. Engine temp doesn't show any issue runs stead at about 145 to 150.

What is under the driver's side floor board. Any suggestions on what is causing this, remedies?

Heater core is shot, take it to NAPA and they should be able to find a close replacement.

DBattt....I just experienced the same thing over the past week. Did replacing he heater core solve the problem?

This is a really old thread, but if the floor is wet with hot water, the heater core has definitely failed. They are located under the dash, and they crack (usually from improper winterization) and leak hot water all over the floor. You can get a new one here:
