Another 2003 sante 210 question

My boat takes on a ton of water when at the lake and don't understand why. AfterI fill up fat sacs (750lbs) in side compartments and stock belly I usually keep the switch on open so while the boat is moving it will continue to fill. I can pull engine hatch and look in and not see any water. Then when I pull boat out of water I always pull drain on ramp bc my boat sits with the bow down on the trailer. Here is when gallons of water come pouring out.
It's like there are two compartments for water because under middle bow seat there is a little drain and there is usually water on the carpet there which is a pain in the butt bc I have to pull the wet/dry vac out when I get it home.

Anyone else with this boat have a ton of water in it when drained. Any ideas on what I can do. I guess first I should check the bilge by the belly tank and make sure it's working but still can't figure out where the water is coming in from. Belly tanks???

I had a dumb moment 2 weeks ago. I was filling my hull with water and couldn't figure out why. Well my shower head was open and the water pressure from the motor was causing it to slowly leak. I turned the shower head off... no more water in hull.

Is the belly bilge pump working? Water could be sitting around belly tank and not getting pumped out.

i would definitely be sure my bilge pumps are working when out on the water. open up the floor locker when on the lake and just observe if you see water coming in from ballast plumbing. if not that, it is probably coming from either the prop shaft packing or a thru hull. i have had to correct both over the years ...

Are you doing any surfing with the boat listed? If so, is your rubrail dipping under the waterline? If so, it may be that the seal between the deck and the hull is not water-tight.

Check your water pump and make sure you haven't had the gasket fail on you. I had this problem recently and when under power water was spraying in the bilge the whole time. Replaced gasket and impeller and all is well again.
