    Boat dies in afternoon

The last 2 days my boat has ran fine all day, but when I try to go out after dinner it cranks fine and gets to the end of cove and acts like its out of gas. It will fire up and backfire but then **** off again. After about 10 minutes of this it will crank up and run fine the rest of evening and all next day till after dinner? Has happened last two days and never had any issues with it before. 2002 super air 210 330 engine.

Sounds like a heat-related vapor lock issue. Maybe some folks with the Same engine can weigh in. Might be good to leave the engine cover open after you finish afternoon runs to see if allowing the heat buildup to escape stops this from happening.

I was thinking same thing. Went out yesterday evening with temperatures in the 70's and ran fine. Thanks for your help!
